When news first hit, the world exploded into jubilee. At long last, Disney would finally reveal the next chapter in the life of our old friends. Cory and Topanga. But now, an ominous note of discord: how can it really be a Boy Meets World sequel without Cory’s best friend and loyal confidante, Shawn? Well, we’ll have to find out together because (brace yourself) Last night, Rider Strong took to his own website to let everyone know that nobody had asked him to be a part of Girl Meets World. “At this point,” he wrote to the heartbreak of millions, “I have no official involvement in Girl Meets World. There might be a chance to see some of the BMW cast in a guest spot, and I think it would be nice to find out where our characters have been all these years. But Girl Meets World will be, and I think it should be, its own show. It will be about Cory and Topanga, their daughter, and a new set of characters.” Well, that’s all well and good, but what about Mr. Feeny? What girl would even want to meet the world without Mr. Feeny there to guide her through it? …
