This week, Hillsong pastor Brian Houston was a guest on The Today Show to discuss his new book There Is More. But, along with talking about the book, he took the opportunity to discuss faith and purpose.
When asked about what he would say to someone who wants to feel the way he describes in the book, Houston responded by pointing them to God.
“Believing what God says about you is a huge part of it. I think so often, people find that hard to believe, that God has more for them, because they are aware of their own inabilities … I think just understanding that it’s not ever built on ‘us’—and who we are, how good we are or how bad we are—it’s all about Him.
