The end is truly nigh. Stephen Colbert, our true American hero, will be closing down his show next week to begin prepping for his big takeover of The Late Show after David Letterman hangs up the jacket in May. It’s a great move for Colbert, but it will still be hard to say farewell to the remarkable show he created on Comedy Central. And that remarkable show has one more week of guests, all of whom were just announced today. He’ll have Seth Rogen on the 15th; Kendrick Lamar on the 16th; National Book Award winner Phil Klay on the 17th; and on the 18th, his “colleague and lifelong friend” Grimmy (aka, the Grim Reaper) will make an appearance. Keep your eyes peeled for plenty of surprise guests along the way, and get your hankies ready …
