Good news Harry Potter fans. It looks like you haven’t seen the last of J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world just yet. In an interview with The New York Times, Warner Brothers CEO Kevin Tsujihara revealed that a spinoff franchise based on Rowling’s short book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them—a faux Hogwarts text book published in 2001 between Harry Potter novel releases—would be adapted into “three megamovies.” Rowling herself will be closely involved the in the process of creating the films which, according to Variety, will be “set initially in New York about seven decades before the start of the Harry Potter story” …
