If you’re like us, you thought the first Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie was a solid return to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but wished for a little more wizard dueling action. That’s what makes the Crimes of Grindelwald movie so exciting—we’re going to see some powerful magic being thrown around.
At Comic-Con this weekend, we received the first full trailer for the next Harry Potter movie:
We have Dumbledore saying wise Dumbledore things but also doing hardcore Dumbledore magic things. We have Grindelwald moving on wizarding governments in his effort to stamp out muggles. We have Newt Scamander (still the biggest question mark of this whole operation, in all honesty) pulling out the creatures and trying to be brave. All the pieces are here. Now give us some large-scale wizarding action and some Dumbledore speechifying and we’re there.
The movie’s out November 16. You know we’ll be on this one.
