Google Launches Music Service

Among the announcements at Google’s I/O conference yesterday, were details about its new streaming music service, Google Play Music All Access. For a subscription fee, users can search and listen to unlimited streaming music (like Spotify), receive music recommendations based on their interests (like Twitter’s music app) and stream custom-crafted playlists (à la Pandora). Google’s currently offering a free trial of the service and a discounted rate of $7.99 a month.
