Good News, Your Favorite BBC Shows Are No Longer Leaving Netflix

A few weeks ago, it was reported that a handful of popular BBC series would soon be leaving Netflix as some of the network’s contracts with the streaming provider expired. Well, we’ve got some good news. Though a couple of titles will no longer be available come February (Red Dwarf, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, MI-5), a new agreement has been reached, and hits like The Office, Doctor Who, Luther, Sherlock and Call of the Midwife aren’t going anywhere. A spokesperson for Netflix also told The Hollywood Reporter that some initial reports that all BBC shows (including some of the aforementioned ones) were up for renewal were not accurate. Really, all that matters here is that there is no need to try and spend the next week and a half attempting to binge-watch 25 seasons of Doctor Who
