Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah” Movie has Found Its Methuselah

Lots of Bible movie buzz is starting to come from Iceland, where Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) is filming his huge budget Noah movie, starring Jennifer Connelly (Requiem for a Dream), Emma Watson (“Hermione” in the Harry Potter films) and Russell Crowe as the titular builder of the arky arky. Today, Aronofsky announced via Twitter that he has cast Anthony Hopkins as Methuselah, the World’s Oldest Man. Genesis says that Methuselah, Noah’s grandfather, lived to be 969 years old, which is at least as many movies as Hopkins has been in, so it’s a really spot on bit of casting …
