A recent Gallup survey found that Provo-Orem, Utah—an area that also ranks as one of the country’s most religious areas—ranked No. 1 as part of the project to find cities with the highest rates of “wellbeing.” To determine wellbeing, the researchers used six factors: “life evaluation, emotional health, work environment, physical health, healthy behaviors, and access to basic necessities.” It’s not the first time religious values and wellbeing have been linked.
