Lecrae’s long-anticipated Restoration was supposed to drop a few weeks ago, before suddenly getting delayed for elusive reasons. Since then, America has been pure chaos, full of protests and pandemics. Lecrae found himself near the center of a storm after a conversation about race with Louie Giglio went the worst kind of sideways.
Now, Lecrae’s back with a new single off of Restoration. It’s called “Deep End,” which certainly sounds like an appropriate title for the times. It’s also got a moody urgency that ought to ring true to your current emotional state. It’s a great song.
We still don’t have a date on Restoration, but on Instagram Lecrae confirmed that it’s “in progress.”
