Arcade Fire’s driving ethos seems to be “less is less.” Case in point, the media rollout of their upcoming album, which has included multiple music videos, an international tour and some, er, avante garde promotional materials. The album is even called Everything Now, for goodness’ sake.
And now theres a BBC 1 Radio Live Lounge session too, in which the band jams out for a bit. You can hear the whole thing here, but take a moment to note their cover of Lorde’s summer jam “Green Light.” (Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler thanked her for “fighting the good fight” during the session.) You can hear the whole concert here (the “Green Light” cover starts at about the two-hour, 25 minute mark) or just check out this clip.

Everything Now is a couple of weeks out yet, but you can listen to Lorde’s excellent Melodrama now.
