The network behind the recently concluded sitcom hit How I Met Your Mother have passed on a spin-off. Despite some early development and casting, a CBS executive told reporters that “certain creative elements” of How I Met Your Dad just weren’t coming together, hinting that it was unlikely that development would be moving forward on the current series.
