The network has announced that it is bringing back its popular geographically puzzling globetrotting thief in a series of interactive online games. Though network executives said they currently have no plans on producing a new Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego TV series, the games feature all the hallmarks of the show. Every Thursday, PBS will release a series of clues—in the form of tweets, Vine posts and social media content—that will serve as clues to where Carmen Sandiego is hiding after perpetrating her latest crime. Cyber gumshoes who figure out the answer to the weekly mystery, are asked to post a selfie at the location with hashtag #CatchingCarmen which will then be shared with fellow fans.
