
Because you can never really get enough adaptations of a Dr. Seuss classic, Illumination Studio (think Despicable Me) is reimagining How the Grinch Stole Christmas. But this time they’re taking the story back to its roots: animation. And who will be playing the awful, grumpy, Who-hating Grinch? Benedict Cumberbatch, of course. According to EW, producer Chris Melendari told crowds that Cumberbach has a voice that exudes “comedic wickedness while embodying vulnerability.” That sounds just grinchy enough to work.
