We’re not sure what kind of mood this is going to put you in at the start of a Friday, but Beach House brought something gorgeous to the stage on last night’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Performing their song “Drunk in LA” off their new album 7, Beach House brought the lights down to nighttime swimming-pool blues and set the ambience to something like a comedown from a rave.
The group themselves didn’t bring a ton of showmanship, but they didn’t have to, what with the giant set of eyes blinking behind them and the fog around their ankles. It was like a Twin Peaks episode, or a trippy haunted house, or something in the middle of all of that.
