In what is, bizarrely, the second example of a rock star attempting to hire an assassin to have someone offed in as many years, Phil Rudd—drummer for hard rock godfathers AC/DC—has been arrested in New Zealand for “attempting to procure the murder of two men.” Who these two men are and what they did to put Rudd in the mood to plot their demise is unknown, but Rudd was also charged with possession of meth so, you know, stay away from drugs. AC/DC has been planning a reunion tour as a throwback to their earlier, less murderous days and Rolling Stone is reporting that it’s unclear how this development will affect the tour.
