The Muppets may soon be returning to TV. According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has teamed with Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady for a new primetime variety show, that would be similar to The Muppet Show of the late ‘70s. THR says that if a proof-of-concept presentation with advertisers receives strong feedback next month, the series could be quickly greenlit.
