Back in 2017, pop star Justin Bieber abruptly canceled his tour, and began opening up on social media about his own struggles with mental health. Since then, he’s gotten married, helped lead worship and become more vocal about his faith.
Now, Bieber has released a trailer for an upcoming docuseries that looks at the making of his first new album in four years “through the lens of his closest confidants, friends, collaborators and Bieber himself.” The series is called Seasons and will debut on YouTube on January 27.
As Bieber explains in the teaser, “As humans we go through so many ups and downs. So many good seasons, bad seasons. Sometimes we wanna give up.”
CNN recently profiled Hillsong NYC Church pastor Carl Lentz, and Lentz discussed his friendship and mentorship of Bieber in recent years, even saying that Bieber stayed at his house for a month with his family.
