Last week, we learned that Netflix would be losing Friday Night Lights and 30 Rock as the first of its long-standing contracts started to end, and Netflix’s collection of beloved streaming TV shows starts to fall apart. But now, as predicted, other streaming services are swooping in to pick up the pieces. First up, Hulu, who will snag the rights to 30 Rock, instantly rocketing Hulu up to one of the best digital services on the planet. It’s also acquiring Parenthood, Made In Chelsea, Face Off and other shows that aren’t as good as 30 Rock. You’ll be able to watch 30 Rock on Hulu starting October 1 — the same date it leaves Netflix.
Still no new home for Friday Night Lights though, although it’s probably just a matter of time.
