A new book about the Shroud of Turin—the famous burial cloth said to be imprinted with Christ’s image post-crucifixion—makes some controversial claims about an already debated relic. The Sign: The Shroud of Turin and the Secret of the Resurrection says the apostles did not believe in Jesus’ resurrection because they saw His risen form, but were convinced after seeing the shroud itself.
