"Why should we be involved in partisan politics? Why should Christians take political stances when we don't know what side God is on? Well, that's easy. Social Justice is not a political issue. It's a moral one. Whether we provide aid to Africa, become involved in AIDS help and activism, whether we help the poor, or educate ourselves on these issue does not take a political stance, it takes a moral one. We are commanded by God to stand up for those who cannot. We are commanded to speak for those who have no voice, to worship God by serving others. James speaks many times about the action of our faith is through service. James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

It's not politics, it's not partisan, its not republican, it's not democrat, not liberal, or conservative. It's Christian, it's a command, and it is what The Revolution is all about.
