According to Deadline, a biopic of famed children’s show host Mr. Rogers is being made. One of the executives at the production company that purchased the script to A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood said, “Fred Rogers was such an inspirational man for so many people. His keen ability to find the good in anyone, or anything, will make for a truly inspiring cinematic experience.” Before launching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood in 1968 (which ran all the way until 2001), Fred Rogers was a Presbyterian minister, who saw a need for wholesome children’s entertainment on TV. I have to confess that I loved the first Elizabeth way back in 1998. Sure it lacked historical accuracy, but I was drawn in by Elizabeth's complexity and her relationship with Dudley in Cate Blanchett's portrayal.

Fast-forward nine years and Blanchett is back playing a more mature Elizabeth. England is still full of intrigue and the Protestant queen has to constantly watch her back for plots to overthrow her by those cunning Catholics.
