The world’s laziest inventors have made a shirt that almost never has to be washed, affectively putting Febreze out of business. Wool&Prince, the creators of the high-tech button-down shirt, claim to have created some sort of space-age fabric that uses some manner of “wool science” to prevent odor from forming. The project is being funded (of course) through a Kickstarter campaign. Athletic apparel maker Adidas has unveiled their new uniforms set to be worn by a few lucky college teams later this year, and they are stunning. Combining the timeless subtly of brightly colored, leopard-print shorts, un-matching shirts and just a hint of urban camo, the uniforms are a true step forward in apparel design and overall fashion sensibilities. Fans of Zubaz pants and reflective cycling gear will appreciate the design’s tasteful use of both animal stripes and wild florescent colors in its nonsensical pattern combinations … Discuss

 

If you happen to be watching the Golden State Warriors game next week, you might find yourself asking, “Is this an NBA game or some sort of Tour de France winners' charity basketball game?” That’s because the Warriors will be debuting their “revolutionary” new fitted, sleeved jerseys. Sure, traditional basketball jerseys are culturally ubiquitous fashion staples, beloved by fans and athletes alike for their iconic tank-top look and baggy fit. But why not completely change everything about them for no reason? Obviously, these new high-tech jerseys have their benefits: Should NBA basketball games suddenly be played outdoors for some reason, the sleeves can protect players from the elements. If a player decides to ride his bike to the game, his uniform can serve as a cycling jersey. If players want to go boogieboarding during half-time, the fitted tees will make perfect rash guards.
