Legendary Christian music singer Carman is asking fans to contribute to a Kickstarter campaign to help fund his next album and video. As he explains, though, the project is bittersweet: “Eight weeks ago I was diagnosed with incurable Multiple Myeloma Cancer and given a three-to-five year window of time. It seemed like a death sentence, but through Kickstarter, God has turned it into a life sentence.”

Carman has unveiled a series of gifts for campaign-backers that include everything from a tour jacket and limited edition CD, to a personal concert and a phone call from the man himself. Since launching the campaign last month, he’s raised over $126,000 toward his $200,000 goal … Discuss
