While it would be simple to relegate English electro-pop trio The XX to the role of background music, the truth is that the band continues to write great songs and deserves a respectful listen. And while their new album, Coexist, doesn't break any new ground, there's a good chance you'll find yourself going back to it's infectious guitar riffs and moody melodies over and over again.
