‘Pimp My Ride’ Was Fueled By Unleaded Lies

Your childhood was a sensitive time. You had a sense of childlike faith that everything you were told was true, and you wanted it to be true, because how could anything wonderful not also be true? Well, put your childhood on a high shelf and protect it from the thieves and wolves, because it is a fragile thing and reality is a cruel and reckless tyrant. The Huffington Post has released a report on MTV’s Pimp My Ride (don’t ask why. Who knows why anyone does anything?) and the results are very sad. The show, which fixed up contestants’ clunkers with some truly absurd custom features, has now been accused of multiple travesties. Some contestants said producers forced them to remove the add-ons after taping. Others talked about items that “were occasionally put into cars with no intention of them ever working in real life.”

So the long and short of it is that Pimp My Ride was a complete lie and Xzibit can’t be trusted and why do we ever love anything when it always turns out to be a fabrication. Yo, dawg, I heard you like deception
