Horsemeatgate Hits Taco Bell

When will the madness stop?! Yesterday, we reported that in addition to their meatballs, Ikea’s wiener sausages also tested positive for horsemeat. Now the equine scandal that has swept across Europe has claimed another victim. And this time, the unthinkable has happened: Taco Bell has had the quality of its meat called into question. Tests on the fast food chain’s ground beef in its European stores were positive for horsemeat. Fortunately, Taco Bell has owned up to it, so at least they’re not a bunch of neighsayers. Taco Bell has been saddled with controversy before, but it’s generally been a relatively stable company, and they have hay hopes for the future. That’s it. We’re done.
