The owner of Avid Life Media—the company that owns the online infidelity service Ashley Madison—says the affair website is growing rapidly, even though hackers recently stole and released data from more than 30 million accounts. Just days after the business’ CEO resigned, the company released a statement claiming it gained hundreds of thousands of new accounts in recent days, adding “Last week alone, women sent more than 2.8 million messages within our platform.” They also boasted that despite the hack, “Ashley Madison is the number one service for people seeking discreet relationships.”
