Adele's music is not for everyone. It has nothing to do with her: you'd have to a robot to not be blown away by her pipes. It's just her style of music isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine. That doesn't mean Adele, the woman, can't still be considered universally great, and if you're not convinced, just check out this bomb she dropped on Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Madonna: “They don’t look how they do in magazines or videos. I have seen them up close. They don’t even look like that. Exploiting yourself sexually is not a good look. I don’t find it encouraging.” At this point, Adele has sold as many copies of 21 as there are Land Before Time sequels, so she can get away with giving some pointers to her trailing pop stars. “To sell more records I don’t even need to do that," she says. "I just stand there and sing.” Well, we can't all sing like you, Adele, but we definitely wouldn't mind if could find more singers like you ...

Adele is great, but she has to know that the world is big. She has her style but MILLIONS of people like Gaga's style, for example. If she's happy about don't have to "show" her body when she sings, she doesn't need to say it's wrong or not nice. I'm PRETTY sure if she had a nice body, she wouldn't sing dressed like a 50 years old lady. I enjoy all Adele's songs, but she should respect how other artists like to express themselves. Haven't she seen Gaga singing live and playing a piano? She has great talent like Adele. But she's a ENTERTEINER, not just a singer.

Did you just imply that Adele is only saying this because she's too ugly to dress like the "entertainers" do?
There are lots of places for people to go to be "entertained" by women's bodies. Adele is just saying that people in the music industry should entertain with music.

adele has a point when it comes to the entertainment/music industry. the reason i am commenting though is for the lack of correct grammer in relevant articles. i enjoy the content and have previously subscribed to the magazine but have noticed increasingly more grammar errors including this bit on adele. the magazine is sweet. i like the content, design and layout. the authorship on the other hand, bitter.
