With a single tweet and two hashtags, director Bryan Singer has announced yet another X-Men movie is in the works, posting, “#Xmen #Apocalypse 2016!”, as the Internet collectively sighed, “Meh”. In case you’re counting, this will be the sixth X-Men released since the franchise’s modern reboot in 2000—and that’s not counting the two Wolverine movies. It’s also not counting the other Wolverine movie that’s in the works, a coming X-Force movie and a potential Deadpool film.
