It's time to update Wuthering Heights for a new generation. That just goes without saying. If you somehow manage to get through the first page of Wuthering Heights today without falling asleep, you will note that there are no skateboards, pop-culture references or vampires at all. It's a modern travesty. And because nature abhors a vacuum, the geniuses at NBC are putting their heads together to create a modern adaptation of Wuthering Heights, set in Napa Valley, called Napa. Sounds pretty brilliant, although it's sort of a mystery as to why they didn't just name it Wuth3rin' H3ightz, like the kids say it ...

I think that a modernization of Wuthering Heights
has the potential to be very good, or very bad. I really hope that it defies
expectations and proves to be a great adaption of my favorite novel. A
co-worker at DISH pointed out that it if done right; it could inspire a new
generation to read the book. I will give this show a chance when it comes and
record it on my Hopper. The 2,000 hours of recording space give me plenty of
room for this and all of my favorite shows. This is such a beloved story; I have
faith that the producers will treat it as such and make a brilliant show as a
result.

Is there any way to keep "Lucy" the DISH/HOPPER whore from posting all over every media site on the internet?
