Why People Are Drawing Red X’s on Their Hands Today

You’ve likely seen selfies of social media friends with big red X’s on their hands today. The awareness efforts are part of the End It campaign, an initiative to fight human trafficking around the world, help victims and teach others about the terrible realities of modern human trafficking. Along with the selfie campaign, activists are encouraging others to make a $7 donation (or collect groups of friends in teams who will donate), that will go to support projects that rescue and restore victims and help fund the fight against global human trafficking. Organizations like World Vision, IJM, Not For Sale and The Salvation Army are just a few of the groups working with End It to help victims and take down trafficking rings.
