What Are the Best and Worst Jobs in America?

The website CareerCast.com has created a list of the best and worst jobs in 2013. The site looked at five criteria (physical demands, work environment, income, stress and hiring outlook) to determine their rankings. Topping the list: an actuary. If math isn’t your thing, well, honestly your kind of out of luck—five of the top 10 best jobs either involve engineering, computer analysis or financial knowledge. To no surprise to anyone who has ever watched Parking Wars, a meter reader is one of the worst jobs, along with lumberjack, actor and oil rig worker. The very worst job in America? A newspaper reporter, which ranks dead last, a full 13-spots lower than dishwasher …
