'Two and a Half Men' Is Terrible, Says 'Two and a Half Men' Star

It's never good advice to bite the hand that feeds you, but when the hand that feeds you is Two and a Half Men, exceptions can and must be made. In this case, the exception is being made for Angus T. Jones, who plays the titular "half" and has recently gotten very serious about his Christian faith and has filmed a lengthy takedown of the sitcom for his church, Forerunner Christian Church. “If you watch Two And A Half Men, please stop watching Two And A Half Men,” he says in the video. “I’m on Two And A Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth ... If I am doing any harm, I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be contributing to the enemy’s plan. You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can’t. I’m not OK with what I’m learning, what the Bible says and being on that television show.” CBS had no comment about Jones' remarks, because they were reportedly hospitalized from a dangerous amount of smack laid down on them ...

I love "black people"??? LOL. Besides that comment, I'm happy for him and excited to see how God uses his life.

Seventh-day Adventism, if that's what Angus has joined, is a complicated mix of cult and Christianity. How so? Because much of what it says is Christian... but the denominational meaning of what it says... the inside understanding if you will... is NOT Christian but cultic.

Adventism also has a fascination with entertainers and celebrities... they feed it's need to be elite and yet mainstream at the same time. See I said it was complicated...

I'm a former SDA and have watched the same story play out with countless other celebs both major and minor... Clifton Davis, Little Richard, etc. Angus is all over youtube and the SDA news and blog sites now... that won't last long. When he takes his next acting job, they'll either drop him like a hot potato because his "conversion wasn't real" or they'll drive him out with rumor and innuendo.

I'm sad for him because I take Christ and conversion very deeply... I wish He'd met Christ through a mainstream Christian church and not one with so much baggage both obvious and hidden. I'm praying for Angus and the Adventists I know and love the world over. There is freedom in Christ that SDAs have never known.

Everyone, do background checks on the kid's testimony and his "guru" .I am a former SDA and as it was said before, it is a complicated denomination.

I'm a little bothered by the accusations against Seventh-day Adventists not being "real Christians" or a "cult." Neither of these accusations are truthful. The Adventist church has many within it that are very legalistic, but that does not define the millions of God-fearing Adventists around the world who take their faith and spirituality seriously. There are many liberal Adventists that disagree with some of the fundamentalist elements of the church (I fear Angus is getting caught up in legalism and not authentic faith)... but as an Adventist that had previously left Christianity, and then came back to the church, I can say that we love God and serve him through faith.
