Someone’s Invented a Time Machine and It Sounds Kind of Lame

It’s hard to imagine a boring version of a time machine, but give it up for an Iranian scientist who claims he’s not only thought one up, but invented a working prototype of it. This machine won’t allow you to go change the past or even look into the future. Instead, it reads your handprint and then it gives you a print out of what your future will look like over the next 5-8 years. Oh, the scientist reminds us that it’s only 98% accurate. “I have been working on this project for the last 10 years,” Ali Razeghi, a 27-year-old scientists said. ”My invention easily fits into the size of a personal computer case and can predict details of the next 5-8 years of the life of its users. It will not take you into the future, it will bring the future to you.” Yeah, well, if this is the future, your machine can keep it …

Update: Never mind.
