If you live in Northern California and follow the Twitter profile @HiddenCash, you could soon be $100 richer. The person behind the tweets has been posting clues pointing to locations of envelopes filled with cash throughout San Francisco, and will soon be taking the online scavenger hunt to nearby cities. In an anonymous interview with Bold Italic, the person behind the cash giveaway (who is involved in the real estate industry) says that they are going to continue to hide at least $1,000 a day for the “foreseeable” future as a way of giving back to the community. “I’ve made millions of dollars the last few years, more than I ever imagined, and yet many friends of mine, and people who work for me, cannot afford to buy a modest home in the Bay Area. This has caused me quite a bit of reflection. I am determined to give away some of the money I make, and in addition to charity, to do it in fun, creative ways like this” …
