As the Eastern Seaboard begins cobbling back together some semblance of normalcy following the superstorm’s landfall, sad numbers are being confirmed about the loss of human life. A mother lost her grip on her two sons in the waves. A young teen girl trapped in her house as it flooded. All told, 56 deaths have been confirmed in the wake of Sandy’s path, and that number is expected to rise. President Barack Obama told press that clean-up would be swift. “We are not going to tolerate red tape, we are not going to tolerate bureaucracy,” Obama said. “And I’ve instituted a 15-minute rule, essentially, on my team. You return everybody’s phone calls in 15 minutes, whether it’s the mayor’s, the governor’s, county officials. If they need something, we figure out a way to say yes” …
