Reminder: Don’t Jump on Stage to Charge Your Phone During a Broadway Play

What would you do if your phone was about to die right before you started watching a play? Well, here’s one thing you could do: Jump onstage and try to charge it using the outlet on the set. That’s exactly what one audience member did this weekend right before the play Hand to God started at the Booth Theatre. Unfortunately for him, the outlet wasn’t real, so rather than buying him a precious few more minutes of Candy Crush, his bright idea just got him jeers from others in the theater and an announcement from the stage crew about how audience members aren’t supposed to come onstage. Next time, just let the phone die.
