One of the weirdest stories of 2014 continues to get weirder as Sony has now announced that The Interview will be available for theaters to show on Christmas Day as planned. If you’re looking to thank someone for this, look no further than the President of the United States, who made his feelings on the matter pretty clear. Only selected theaters will get to show the film (as of this writing, a theater in Atlanta and the Alamo Drafthouse chain are the only ones who have picked it up, but there will be more). Also, the video will be available on demand. Of course, showing the movie amounts to look a terror threat of indiscriminate legitimacy and origin in the eye, and that’s a pretty big risk for a Seth Rogen comedy, but everyone’s life is theirs to live.
