The United States is going to try to stop the violent extremists of ISIS—or as they want to be known “The Islamic State”—with airstrikes. In a statement, President Obama said, “I believe the United States of America cannot turn a blind eye. We can act, carefully and responsibly to prevent a potential act of genocide.”
The violent Sunni Islamic group has displaced thousands—many of whom now face starvation—and has taken over villages across the country. The U.S. will also deliver humanitarian supplies through airdrops to the stranded refugees. The group is so extreme in their ideology, that they’ve violently and systematically executed those who disagree with their warped religious views, including murdering Christian children. ISIS recently took over the country’s largest Christian area, and are enforcing their brutal “convert or die” policy among all those who oppose their beliefs …
