A little desperate, maybe, but forging a parent's note like this deserves marks for creativity. And, in some sense this kid may not even be aware of, the note may be more true than she fully grasps. Carry on, kid ...

I admit: my reaction to reading the note was, "That is awesome! Go kid!" How old is this kid, I wonder? Too young to know it wouldn't work, but old enough to think of using the term 'condition' and describe the ailment's unfortunate side effects. I'm sure the homework-allergic child was very disappointed that the note did not alleviate the 'problem'.
