Good news ladies: equal pay is is coming. Bad news: it’ll be here in about 118 years. The World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap Report 2015 reveals that current trends don’t show men and women receiving equal pay until the year 2133. Yikes. Many countries have experienced an influx of women entering in higher education—in some cases, even more than men—but studies are showing that this isn’t leading to more women taking skilled positions or leadership roles in the workplace. Though 250 million more women have entered the workplace than a decade ago, the report shows that women are making what their male counterparts made in 2006.
