A lawyer representing 21 women who have said they were victims of sexual abuse by comedian Bill Cosby introduced three more alleged victims at a press conference this week. More than 40 women have accused Cosby of abuse that occurred over the course of several decades. One of the women says that after having a drink with Cosby in a hotel room in the ‘70s, she became unconscious. (Many of the previous allegations involve Cosby drugging victims before sexually assaulting them.) Another said Cosby forced her into committing a sex act with him in 1971, and the third woman claims she was sexual harassed in 1989 while working on his popular sitcom. One of the women described in graphic detail how Cosby made obscene comments after physically forcing her into a sexual act. She told reporters, “He gloated over my humiliation. He had planned it. I was in shock.” Though Cosby has not been charged, a criminal investigation is currently open.
