Enrique Pena Nieto of Mexico's Institutional Revolutionary Party carried the election on Sunday with 38% of the vote, reinstating a government party that had ruled Mexico for 71 years, but had been voted out in 2000. The Institutional Revolutionary Party has been accused of ruling Mexico through subterfuge and corruption, but Pena Nieto assured Mexico that things would be different.
