It's easy to get discouraged with your own goals. As you work towards the things you want, it sometimes seems that you're always one step behind. But take some encouragement from the sad plight of Mark Clayton, Tennessee's Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate. He's making waves for being "2012's Worst Candidate," which ought to tell you something about how his campaign is faring. He's got no headquarters, $278 in funds raised and one sign that he totes around his pick-up truck. He insists that he doesn't need them. He doesn't like talking to reporters. He's got 386 fans on Facebook. His own party has refused to support him owing his association with an organization that the Southern Poverty Law Center branded a hate group. So, you're probably already feeling better about your own career aspirations ...

I feel that it's sad that Relevant finds it appropriate to mock someone publicly. Reporting a story is one thing, mocking someone is entirely different. Which only shows me why I don't read this rag very often and when I do I question why I did.

Your comment probably goes a lot further if you refrain from referring to the magazine as a "rag."
