We thrilled at the Boy Meets World reboot. We cheered at the mention of a Destiny’s Child reunion. We were surprised to learn that Audio Adrenaline is reuniting with Kevin Max as the new frontman. But what sort of reaction should we have to the announcement that Kriss Kross is getting back together? Yes, Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly and Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith—child rappers, perfectly-nicknamed Chris’s and fashion pioneers—will be playing a reunion show later in February and, with any luck, will be thusly motivated to finally churn out the rest of that album that they’ve been working on for the past 13 years. But, alas, their recent promotional images suggests the duo has given up backwards clothing. Can it even be called a Kriss Kross reunion if they’re wearing their clothes normal? …
UPDATE: Kriss Kross was indeed wearing backwards jeans at their press conference. Wiggity-wiggity-wiggity is indeed back.
