According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jimmy Fallon will be taking the reigns of the Tonight Show in 2015. Even though the Jay Leno-helmed NBC talk show is still a ratings leader, the show’s popularity has begun to wane since ABC moved Jimmy Kimmels’ late night show into the competitive 11:35 spot. NBC fully expects Jay Leno to put on a denim shirt and quietly ride into the sunset, as the younger, hipper host of the other NBC late night program takes over the Tonight Show.
