If you somehow missed Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar on its first trip through IMAX theaters over the summer, AMC Theaters is going to give you another chance this weekend. On Saturday, February 21, Interstellar will show in select IMAX theaters across the United States for just one night. And, as an added bonus, there will be 12 minutes of extra footage included (it’s supposed to be behind-the-scenes footage—not actual extra plot stuff. Nolan very famously never cuts a scene once he shoots it.) Critics weren’t quite as universally enthralled with Interstellar as they are Nolan’s past work, but it’s still a wild, brain twisting adventure with some shots that are about as beautiful as you could ask from a film in 2015, which makes seeing it on IMAX all the more special.
