Sources close to Peter Jackson are saying he’s looking to turn The Hobbit, a planned two-parter, into a full trilogy. At this point, the first movie is set to come out this Christmas, and the second will hit December of 2013, but Warner Bros is definitely interested in exploring options for stretching things into a third movie, provided all the actors are willing to come back on for another round.
