The Golden Globes are sort of dumb. Always the bridesmaid, never the Oscars. And although Hollywood's finest usually show up, it feels more like an obligation than an actual good time. That is, until word was announced this morning that universally-beloved best friends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be co-hosting this year's ceremonies. Fey and Poehler have been Golden Globes ninjas over the past few years, sniping in their own brand of rogue humor into a ceremony in dire need of someone who doesn't take it seriously. With these two on board, who even cares who wins what award for best something or other, just hope the two hostesses with the mostesses get as much time in the spotlight as they deserve and set your DVR's for save forever ...
